Tests that are typically needed for food supplements are:
· Certificates of Analysis (CoAs) for each production batch where product samples are tested against the predefined product specifications. CoAs are required before a product can be released on the market
· Stability testing to substantiate the shelf life of the product
· Periodical product and individual raw material testing on critical contaminants and other risk factors as identified in the FSCR (e.g. PAHs, PCBs, mycotoxins, heavy metals, etc.) depending on the composition and processing methods
